Een stroom van herinneringen en emoties, een hervertelling van zijn eigen laatste 7 minuten, waarbij conventionele harmonieën worden vermengd met griezelige soundscapes en wervelwinden, alsof je voor zijn graf staat.

NE: ‘Kiem’ is voor mij een eerste kennismaking met de akoesmatische muziek. En aangezien deze me in die mate fascineert en de inhoudelijke opzet ervan me sterk triggert zou dit eventueel een begin kunnen zijn voor verder werk binnen dit genre. In dit werk gebruik ik ‘kiem’ als in de vorm van de gedachte op zich, als oorsprong, verklankt door stem, die onvermijdelijk gekleurd geraakt door mening en uiteindelijk oordeel, verklankt door elektronica.
EN: For me, ‘Kiem’ (germ) is my first introduction to acousmatic music. And since it fascinates me so much and its content strongly triggers me, this could possibly be a starting point for further work within this genre. In this work, I use “kiem” in the form of the thought itself, as the origin, expressed by the voice, which is inevitably coloured by opinion and ultimately judgement, expressed by electronics.
